Trump’s administration forces schools not to prove a race based on a race

President Donald TrumpThe administration is for demanding schools to prove that they do not hold recognition based on race.

The Ministry of Education released a note On Thursday, a new audit process is described in detail to accept colleges to find any cases of civil rights violations.

The National Education Statistics Center is responsible for collecting and publishing different types of data from educational institutions in the United States

This move comes after the Supreme Court’s ruling in 2023 in the Harvard Student Activist Case (SFFA) case, which led to rejection of the use of a race as a factor in the admission of college. Trump broke up Diversity, justice and inclusion (DEI)prompting many universities to abandon Dei programs.

“As part of their regular data reporting process, higher education institutions will now have to report data separated by race and gender related to their candidate for applicants, cohort and enrolled cohort at a bachelor’s level and for specific graduates and professional programs.

Education Linda McMahon He said the new initiative would require colleges to provide data directly to the department through an existing data system.

“After the revelations of tumultuous racial preferences when accepting colleges exposed by SFFA vs HarvardThe Trump Administration now standardizes reporting from colleges and universities to provide full transparency in their admission practices. It should not take years of court proceedings and millions of dollars of court dispute fees in order to obtain data from taxpayer -funded institutions that identify whether they discriminate against hard -working US candidates. McMahon continued to add: “We will not allow institutions to downplay students’ dreams, suggesting that their skin color matters more than their hard work and achievements. The Trump administration will ensure that the meritocracy and high achievements are again characterized by American higher education.”
