Friday is now in the books, leaving more questions than answers about how to play this season. We have identified seven hot intake since last week and determine whether they are overreactions or not.
Packers are the best team in the NFL.
They certainly look like him through two weeks. But other teams are giving them a run for their money. The Eagles are the defense of the Super Bowl Champs and have a 2-0 record like packers, so they should be technically examined as the best team in the league until they lose their first game. The bills are also 2-0, and dominated a divisional opponent, came back against the ravens, and have the reigning MVP on their roster. Even the chargers have a case to be considered the best team in the NFL after recording a neutral victory on the site and a victory on the road in back-to-back weeks against partitions. Green Bay is one of the best teams in the league, but the Eagles still carry that title until it has proven otherwise.

Daniel Jones is a MVP candidate.
He should be considered one of the first two weeks of the season. It is tied to the third in total landing. It is also the second in passing yards, sixth in the quarterback ranking, sixth place in the MBR, and the most vested yards for each attempt among players who have shed at least ten passes this year. Most importantly, his squad is 2-0 with a win over a team that made the playoffs last season. Considering how bad the Colts attack was wrong compared to how good it is now with Daniel Jones who runs the accusation, the former New York giant should be considered a MVP candidate.

The Houston Texans will lose playoffs.
Despite their record, this is still a good team. They just ran into two excellent opponents who are not all familiar with. Rams and Buccaneers are legitimate threats to win the Super Bowl. However, the Texans only lost to those 2025 playoff teams with six combined points. Houston has the lowest differential point among all 0-2 teams (-6). If they kept for another six seconds on Monday evening, the conversation of this group would be very different. They can right the ship with back-to-back games against Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans and make it back to 2-2. With what has been said, the Texans cannot afford to lose any of those parties. Otherwise, they will have steep hills to go back to the top of the AFC South with Indy are likely to improve to 3-0 with a game against the low titans this weekend.
Overreaction
The Dallas Cowboys are a playoff team.
Don’t be drunk, the defense was as bad as we expected to be on Sunday. However, it is worth mentioning that they just signed a rusher pass set up at Badeveon Clowney and had to play that game against the giants without one of their top two cornerbacks, so there is a good chance that this unit will be better this weekend. Outside of defense, the crime and special teams are terrible. That prescott looks like the 2023 version of himself played at an MVP level. They also have a reliable run attack thanks to Javonte Williams’ career resurgence. We cannot also forget about Brandon Aubrey, who is the most reliable kicker in the NFL. He almost alone won the kick to the kick to get overtime and another to win the game. Even though the defense was awful in the week two, the team still came out on top. Their crime is clear enough to win several games this season. As long as the defense shows some improvements from last week, then the cowboys will be a tough match for any team in the NFL.

Steelers’ defense is bad.
Pittsburgh’s defense did not reach its potential through the first two weeks of the 2025-26 campaign. They are allowing 31.5 points per game, which is the fourth worst brand in the NFL. But when we look at the injuries that this squad was dealing with, it seems clearer why they left so many points. They lack their first round from this year, a corner of the beginning, and starting security, which is not ideal as they traded Minkah Fitzpatrick in the season. They are also expected to be the starting linebacker as Alex Highsmith deals with an ankle injury. Joey Porter Jr., Deshon Elliot, Derrick Harmon, Malik Harrison, and Alex Highsmith eventually return to the lineup. In doing so, this defense will look much better than it did in the first two weeks of the season. Do not expect Pittsburgh to give up 30+ points for the third straight week.

Sunday is a game you want to win for the heads.
The Dynasty of Kansas City heads is entering the raw territory. They are at risk of losing four consecutive games dating back to the Super Bowl Lix if they cannot overcome New York giants in Sunday evening’s football. Given, their first two games were not layups. They lost an excellent divisional opponent in a weekly neutral site game and had to host the defense of the Super Bowl Champs in the week two. Who knows, maybe we wouldn’t have this discussion if The tush push was an officer correctly-There is no shame to lose for a pair of teams that are combined 4-0. But there is a shame of losing against New York’s giants, a franchise that is linked to the second least winning percentage in the NFL since the beginning of the 2023 season. If the heads fail to overcome the giants, then it is time to hit the panic button.

It was a mistake for the Vikings to walk from Sam Darnold.
I don’t feel bad, I think JJ McCarthy is a bad quarterback and will not be the surface of the franchise when it is said and done. However, he is too early in his mandate to label him bust. He is the smallest quarterback in the league and has played only two regular NFL-level games. Young QBs need time to develop, so it’s too early to close the book on it. At the same time, Sam Darnold would never be the Savior for the Minnesota Vikings. Even after he had what was undoubtedly the best season of his career last year, he could only collect nine points in the playoffs with some of the best offensive weapons in the NFL. There was no way that the vikes could not replicate their success from last season with Darnold this year, considering their schedule and the injuries they are currently dealing with. JJ McCarthy may not be the right answer, but there were many other quarterbacks that from Minnesota may have brought that it had helped this team make a playoff boost this year. Sam Darnold will never be a Super Bowl winner, and the Vikings recognized this, so they went from him, which was the right decision. Who chose to change him, though, was very doubtful.
