OpenAI works to fix ChatGPT, other apps after crash


OpenAI is working to fix an issue that caused major outages in its applications, including ChatGPT.

Statement from artificial intelligence (AI) company posted on social media platform, X, shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, noted that “most” of ChatGPT, API and Sora were down on Thursday afternoon.

Two additional updates at 15:00 and 16:00 noted that OpenAI “continues to work on fixing (the issue)”.

As of 6:30 p.m. ChatGPT and API were partially restored and Sora was fully functional.
