United’s young midfielder Toby Collyer is looming as a likely option for Leicester this winter, according to reports.

It is probably a little too soon for Collyer to be playing regularly at Old Trafford, so he would certainly benefit from experiencing some first-team football at the King Power Stadium.

However, Leicester may also consider this deal a bit of a risk when they are in a relegation battle, as Collyer is inexperienced at this level.

LCFC could do better to add players who know a little more about what it takes to succeed in the Premier League.

Van Nistelrooy could end up being a good managerial appointment for Leicester, but so is he they definitely need support in the transfer market if he wants to be able to have the kind of impact he is capable of.
