Gavi and Lewandowski goals put Barcelona in control against Daegu

Barcelona made a 2-0 lead after 26 minutes in the last pre-season friendship against Daegu.

The Spanish champions seemed strong as they cut their South Korean hosts in will with Lamine Yamal particularly prominent on the right.

It was the 18-year-old who created the Opener for Gavi after 21 minutes, bambous his marker before dropping the Infield ball for Gavi, who took one contact before firing the left home goalkeeper who passed through the Oh Seung-Hoon house.

Lewandowski enters the act for Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski made it 2-0 six minutes later, slotting in place away after another slick move ended with Gerard Martin fleeing down and whipping into a pin-point cross to the veteran pole to convert.

Barca looked a cut above their hosts and I’ve opened the scoring after five minutes-Yamal plays in Lewandowski just for his effort to be clearly contranded.

Yamal came close to three minutes later, beat several players with a brilliant run that ended with a prodded shot that ignored.

Despite having a little possession, Daegu almost opened the scoring after 20 minutes with goalkeeper Barca Joan Garcia doing a routine cross only for Cesinha to shoot at the bar with the goal not coming out.

Barca survived and increased the intensity to score two quick goals and set a total command of the game.
