Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Mich., discusses DOGE’s influence on Congress and Elon Musk’s role in the Trump White House on “Varney & Co.”
Billionaire business tycoon Elon Musk they overthrew scarcity thinking and suggested that, at its core, there was unlimited potential for job and business creation.
“The ‘fixed pie’ fallacy is at the root of much flawed economic thinking. There is essentially endless potential for creating jobs and companies. Think of all the things that didn’t exist 20 or 30 years ago!” Musk announced in an X post.
Musk’s comment was in response to a post by entrepreneur Joe Lonsdale, who mentioned Sriram Krishnan – who President-elect Trump recently tapped for a role in his incoming administration. Last month, Krishnan advocated lifting the green card cap when he responded to a post by Musk about the Department of Government Efficiency, a new body that Musk will lead with businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.
“Anything to remove country restrictions on green cards / unlock skilled immigration would be huge,” Krishnan tweeted. In another post, Krishnan added, “simple logic – we need the best, regardless of where they were born (another weird quirk – the country cap is where you were born, not even citizenship).”

“Makes sense,” Musk replied.
