Dowman of Arsenal “incredible” – and gyokeres “will be 100%”

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says 15-year-old Max Dowman “deserves to have chances” after the midfielder re-attacks his claims to play in the Premier League with an impressive Mado against Villarreal.

England Under-17 International Dowman has repeatedly impacted a substitute during the pre-season, which was close to scoring on several occasions and won the second penalty in three games after replacing Bukayo Saka in the 63rd minute 3-2 defeat at home to the Spanish side.

“He continues to impress, without a doubt,” Arteta said. “The impact he has had on the game again, the efficiency he shows in every attack and action-is incredible.

Viktor Gyokeres: Arsenal Building Fitness

Arteta first dropped Viktor Gyokeres, whose Arsenal Hope will respond to their need for a prolific striker after joining the sport in July for a fee that could go up to £ 64 million.
