Cristiano Ronaldo says the problem at Manchester United is not the coach and has hinted at wider issues relating to the Glazers.
United are in 14th place in the Premier League table after last night’s 2-0 defeat against Wolves.
Ruben Amorim was brought in a month ago to replace Erik ten Hag but the results did not improve with the Portuguese taking seven points from his first seven games in charge of the league.

Asked about the situation at Old Trafford, Ronaldo told the Globe Soccer Awards: “(The) Premier League, it’s the most difficult league in the world.
“All teams are good, all teams fight, all teams run, all teams are strong. Football is different now. There are no easy games anymore.
“I said this a year and a half ago, and I will continue to say it: The problem is not the coaches, it’s like me… I always give this example… like an aquarium.
“If you have the fish in and it’s sick and you go out and fix the problem and put it back in an aquarium it’s going to be sick again.
“Manchester United’s problem is the same. The problem is not always the coach. It’s much more than that.”
I will adjust things – Ronaldo
Asked if he felt that was the situation at the moment, he added: “100 percent. If I am the owner of the club, I will make things clear and adjust things that are bad there.”
And while he did not say that one day he would own Manchester United, Ronaldo claimed that he would follow in the footsteps of former Old Trafford hero David Beckham and that at some point he had a major club.
Asked if he spoke with the Glazers, he said: “I’m still very young and I have many plans and dreams ahead of us but, mark my words, I will definitely be the owner of a big club.”
